Project Description

On 7th September 2025, Rotary Club of Gongabu in collaboration with Rotary Club of Dhulikhel, organized a Mental Health Awareness Program at Nagarjun Secondary School, Tarkeswor. The session engaged and educated more than 80 students and teachers on mental health issues and practical coping strategies.
Mental health is a growing crisis in Nepal. Every year, more than 7,000 people die by suicide in the country, making it one of the leading causes of death among youth and students. The rising burden highlights the urgent need for awareness, early intervention, and community support.
